Review & Description

These great pre-wired Ted Crocker Tesla(tm) pickups are a GREAT way to quickly add some flavor and volume to your Cigar Box Guitar, Ukelele or custom instrument! This pickup features a high-quality piezoelectric transducer encased in a sandwich of MightyOak and figured Queensland Walnut, which ensures good vibration/sound transfer by providing the perfect combination of strength and cushion. The 8" wires exit the case in shrink wrap tubing for durability and a 1/4" jack is soldered to the end. Installation is simple and the tone is loud, clear and incredible. The wood enclosure helps to minimize feedback and handling noise. Double-stick tape is supplied on one side of the wood enclosure for easy installation. It is recommended that you experiment with different locations before adhering - I usually find the sweet spot just under the bass side of the bridge.
